A city vs farm perspective of seasons is a powerful contrast indeed. The way I related to the farm perspective was through the eyes of my chickens :) i know they love the green grass, the sunshine, the cool autumn evenings, but what do they think during rainy nor’easter storms or sub zero winters; they are always “chickening around” do they take like as it comes? I do not know, but i do appreciate being around this energy. Lovely post, as always!!

Yes, what a great observation! I'm quite sure our animals move into the "endure" season. They seem to hunker down, both energetically and spiritually. So much of their life force goes into growing thicker hair or feathers, putting on weight, sitting and standing still in whatever sunbeam may warm them for a moment. Not so unlike me, I suppose.

This was probably the most beautiful personification of the seasons I have ever had the pleasure of reading. ❤

Fall has always been my favorite. But we moved to the North Woods and now, when Spring finally comes, it's hard not to jump around and celebrate. I do! And the frogs - sweet singers of spring! Love them!
