Tara you are a wonder. I will miss you and your thoughtful, thought provoking writing. Thank you. Have a wonderful adventure together. Hope to hear more from you at some point. 🤞
Tara, I wish I could have designated my remaining balance as a farewell gift. Oh well, but now you have me wanting to know about EMF mitigation in an apartment! I have two daughters who need THAT! I guess I will have to spend more hours on the dreaded screen or AI. 😉
Okay, okay, threaten me with learning from AI so I tell you. Is that your game, Jeff? Fine, it worked. 😉
First, you need a Trifield meter so your daughters can literally see the horror for themselves. Otherwise people just don't get it. Take the measurements. I'll leave it to you to learn how to measure RF and dirty EMF and what is what.
Our daughter had a smart meter right outside her kitchen door. It was literally an EMF bomb - you should have heard that meter going wild. So for that, you want shielding.
They spend 1/3 of every day in their beds. Those beds need to be a haven. We used Swiss Shield Naturell canopy and floor mat. Then a grounding mat (organic cotton not plastic) on top of mattress. Don't want to sleep in a dead zone. Need grounding mat if you're shielding the bed.
Her bed went from high readings (wiring in walls and apartments with wifi above and below her) to zero.
We buy from Safe Living Technologies. They're just resellers.
Here's the products we've used in different iterations in our house and elsewhere. They work very well. The nice thing about the shielding is it can be wrapped around anything. We use our meter to measure and then wrap offending things. Our daughter doesn't have wifi in her house.
This store is Canadian so prices might look higher to you Americanos.
You always make me smile, Tara. Maybe I was doing that subconsciously. 🤔😁
Thank you very much for taking the time to type that out, especially after your recent button-clicking travails of the last few days. You are a gem and I will miss your writing and your wisdom. I guess you are RLEI, Real Life Experience Intelligence.
Tara, I am one of those who has never commented, but I fully drink in each of your words. I feel so connected to what you reveal to us and I will miss that terribly. I have never been to Canada but feel I must after your vivid descriptions and especially need to hear the geese! Much love and comfort to you and your family on your next journey.
I’m one of the ones who never commented ( well maybe once) but from the first time I read your words, I resonated; they opened up a seldom visited place inside me & I laughed & wept thru most of your writings; the community that’s followed you are lovely but that’s not my thing; yet your thoughts & words still ring deeply inside me…thanks for all you’ve shared….you’ll be missed💖
Well I'm so happy to hear from you now, Carolyn. Thank you so much. It's nice to imagine that the things I've shared meant something to even the quieter mice tucked away. ❤️
Thank you for your gorgeous writing Tara! I will miss it but have your book which I so treasure. Your writing and voice is truly a breath of fresh air in this wild world.
Oh Tara. I didn’t cry until today where I was trying to wrap a pack of ground beef for the first time wishing I had watched your video a few more times and etched it in my memory. We were learning from a nice local farmer who mostly believes in non toxic natural way of living. He did forget to cut bone in roast and I did forget to remind him. I’m not sure when you started on Instagram but I am fairly sure I was there near the beginning. You were my internet farming auntie and it may sound silly but a lot of life choices were guided by you. We are living on a farm raising our own food in not small part due to you. I am very happy for you to be deep within your own life and experience but I will miss you and your words so deeply. I am so glad to have your book and the ability to return to a dose of wholeness when life is noisy. So much love 💕
Dear Jenelle, it has truly be an honour. Thank you for keeping me around so long. I'm beyond moved f even a sprinkling of what I've shared gave you a boost to get to where you are. You can wrap that beef, woman!! Sending you much love and utter faith in the beauty of the lives you are creating. ❤️
I am excited to read your future PHYSICAL published works and enjoy them as much as I enjoyed your book. 🧡 I'm so grateful you've shared so much of your heart, despite how difficult it is to do such a thing, because it has deeply touched me and taught me a number of good lessons. Best of luck in your health, your seeking, your adventures, and your life. You're an incredible human and have my love!
💚My 85 year old mother and I would discuss your writing the morning after reading. She always called me when she was particularly touched, often in tears. You brought her much happiness and touched our hearts. Sending love and gratitude. 💚
Your words have always been a healing balm when I needed them, in the beginning many years ago when I thought I was alone on my milk cow journey and then especially during the COVID madness and now as I too prepare to disconnect from that online insanity which passes for others’ reality. Here’s to more human connections, more dogs, more raw milk cheeses, more pauses to listen to the trumpeter swans overheard. Godspeed to you and yours!
I am a new subscriber so I am really sad that I came so late to the party. I bought your book "Radiance of the Ordinary" immediately after reading a short excerpt on The Free Press. I thought you were an American, then I found out you are a Canadian, then I saw mention of Ontario, and then I realized that you are in my own backyard, practically. I live just outside of Almonte. I LOVE your book and have bought multiple copies for my friends. I have recommended it to even more. Your writing is so beautiful and it speaks to me as someone who finds the world too fast and too crazy for my liking. I feel like you are a wise sister that I never had.
I bought the audiobook first and when I got to the later chapters I think I cried every day on my way to and from work. I admire you and Troy for how you have nurtured your marriage and grown together through your labours and your grief. When I try to describe your book, words fail me. I just say - READ IT! :) I am glad that you will continue to write and I will keep my eyes peeled for your future work. In the meantime, I wish you and Troy many great adventures and I pray that you will find what you are looking for.
Tara, thank you for the information on EMF mitigation in the above comment. I sure will miss your valuable information. I do have your book and look forward to any future publications. My little credit union wouldn’t authorize payments to Canada so I was not able to renew my subscription last year. I missed getting the entire essays and Q&As.
I was hoping to renew once you came back from your sabbatical. I understand your next step and it gives me courage to take a next step of my own. Real, human relationships are what are drawing me too. It is past time to put down the technology. God speed.
I miss you already. Can’t wait for our worlds to tumble together again very soon.
Until then. ❤️
until then, Deanna.
Me tooooo!!!
Tara you are a wonder. I will miss you and your thoughtful, thought provoking writing. Thank you. Have a wonderful adventure together. Hope to hear more from you at some point. 🤞
Thank you, Laura. I hope to have something worthy to say. All the best to you 💕
God speed and warm nights in the snow!
It's so toasty in there! Thank you, Brenna. Godspeed ❤️

Thank you so much, Rebecca. How lovely to hear from you now. Oh, yes, the geese do love an appreciative audience. ❤️

Thank you for taking a moment for us Tara! Fluff Gus’ fur for me! Golly I will miss you!!!
I did and Gus said, "thank you, do it again". He's insatiable, that one. I will miss you all, too. Very much. 💕
Belly rubs (for the dogs) for the win!
