I listened to this podcast, “Protecting Autumn: A Story of Medical Tyranny and a Mother’s Fight For Her Child”, the other day and it has stuck with me since. It’s a story in real time of a mother trying to protect and have the highest level of care for her four year old daughter. A mother who had to be interviewed for the podcast in the washroom of a hospital, near her four year old daughter’s bedside. She couldn’t leave the hospital for fear of being blocked from reentering. She wasn’t paranoid. In fact, if you listen, and I hope many of you will, you will see that her concerns are well warranted.
